SINGAPORE —With a Singaporean representative in the finals last year, we could definitely tell you that this year’s preliminary round is definitely worth a watch! With a fresh abbreviation change, what was formerly known as the KWF is now known as Chang FE, which stands for 2018 Changwon K-Pop Festival in full.
Our on-site journalists were left in awe after having seen these cover dances. These aspiring artists could almost pass off as legitimate K-pop idols!
Of course, these contestants had to battle it out with one another, from displaying their soulful vocals to their charismatic performances, impressing the judges one by one.
Guest performer, Akif Halqi, winner of the Best Vocal Award last year also challenged himself to earworms like Baby Don’t Cry andKokobop by EXO and the new-released DDU-DU DDU-DU by Blackpink.
A big congratulations to Double R Squad and Eeqa for bagging the 1st prize for performance and vocal categories respectively!
This event is brought to you by The Embassy of the Republic of Korea and SGK Events.
