HONG KONG – Park Chanyeol, singer-songwriter and rapper of the worldwide renowned boyband EXO, arrived in Hong Kong to attend the launch of the CROSS CHAINER sneakers from the Versace Chain Reaction collection last Friday (26 April).
Several hours before the event, the streets near the Versace outlet were already fully packed with more than one thousand fans, once again attributing to his high popularity.
Chanyeol arrived at the venue with a leather piece from Versace, and he showed up first on the 2/F of the shop and waved at fans with a glowing smile. Then, he came to the photo wall on G/F to greet the media and fans once again.
During the quick QnA session, Chanyeol revealed that he would like to stay in Hong Kong for a longer while, but he unfortunately has to return to South Korea because of his work schedule. He did, however, mention that he would like to meet Hong Kong fans again soon.
In fact, just the day before the event, Chanyeol has released his first solo song “SSFW (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)” as the tenth track in SM STATION’s third season. In the interview, Chanyeol said that he had always been working on music and the song meant a lot to him. Also, it is hoped that this track will gain fans’ support and love.
When Chanyeol was asked about what he think he would be like after 10 years, he answered by saying that his love for music will not fade and will continue to work in the music industry at that time.
