GOT7’s Youngjae to hold solo mini-concert in Singapore

The upcoming mini-concert will mark Youngjae’s first visit to Singapore as a soloist.

South Korean vocalist Choi Youngjae is set to return to Singapore for a solo mini-concert later this month on 31 Jul (Sat) held at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.

The announcement came shortly after the release of his new mini-album Sugar last month.

The 24 year-old vocalist’s eponymous mini concert tour, which spans across the month of July, will only stop by three cities — Bangkok, Manila and Singapore.

Choi’s upcoming Singapore visit will mark his first as a soloist.

But he is probably no stranger to the sunny city state as GOT7, a boy band in which Choi is part of, has held shows here on multiple occasions in 2015, 2016 and 2018.

However, group activities for the boy band have significantly dwindled after their departure from their previous entertainment label JYP Entertainment.

That is, until their newest EP dropped in May, fronted by their title number “NANANA”.

Without the company of his six members, expect less dancing and grooving. Instead, anticipate his sultry vocals, as well as more up close and personal time with Choi.

VIP ticket holders are entitled to a group photo (20 fans per group), opportunities to watch Choi’s pre-show rehearsal and send him off.

All VIP ticket holders will receive a paper banner and 10 lucky winners, via a separate raffle, will receive signed banners. More fan benefits listed below.

Tickets go at SGD $268, $218, $168 and $138 for VIP, A RESERVE, B RESERVE and C RESERVE respectively. They will go on sale from tomorrow (8 Jul), 12PM online via the Marina Bay Sands website and the Sistic website.
