TAIPEI – Look beyond his menacing appearance, veteran actor Ma Dong-seok is actually one kind-hearted and sweet man. And he showed us just that when he came to Taiwan, to promote the new film he starred, “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil”.
Named the “Out of Competition” film at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil” is a plot on a vengeful crime boss forming an unlikely partnership with a detective to catch the elusive serial killer who viciously attacked him.
During the press conference held one day prior to the release of the movie, Director Won-Tae Lee and Ma were both treated to Taiwan delicacies like meatballs and salted egg yolk custard bun.
Though Ma plays a gang boss in the film, but we dare assure you he is nothing like what he is on screen in real life. He began taking pictures with fans, giving them autographs and entertained all their requests, as he walked down the red carpet before posing for the media.
With overflowing enthusiasm from local fans, Ma wished that he hopes that he can give Taiwan a visit following the release of any of his films.
What are you waiting for? “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil” is NOW SHOWING and you can catch it at any theatre near you now!
