Mystery thriller Intruder stars Song Ji-hyo and Kim Moo-Yul, to screen in local cinemas soon

One of the first few Korean movies to screen in local cinemas soon.

Seeing your long-lost sister after 25 years habitually signals an emotional scene, but that’s not the case for the newest Korean movie offering, Intruder.

The mystery thriller revolves around two protagonists, Seo-jin (played by Kim Moo-Yul) who is a popular architect, as well as his younger sister Yoo-jin (played by Song Ji-Hyo).

Seo-jin suffers from a trauma when his younger sister Yoo-Jin went missing during his childhood. Fast forward 25 years after her disappearance, Yoo-Jin comes back to her family. But something feels amiss with the long-lost sister.

For those who have previously known Song as a regular in the variety programme Running Man, this movie will sure make you gasp, as the 38 year-old actress portrays a darker personality this time around.

Intruder is directed by Sohn Won-pyung, and stars Song Ji-hyo, Kim Moo-yul, Ye Soo-jung, Choi Sang-hoon, Park Min-ha-I, Heo Joon-seok.

The date of release in local cinemas has yet to be officially announced.
