Ryu Jun-yeol shares what went down during filming of movie “Hit and Run Squad” in Hong Kong

HONG KONG – The main lead of the television drama in vogue during the 2015 – 2016 period is back again to star in this new movie “Hit and Run Squad”.

Hit and Run Squad features Min-jae (Ryu Jun-yeol), a rookie police officer with a natural born talent for driving, is assigned to the perfect team: the Hit-and-Run Squad. But at the same time, for police detective Si-yeon (Kong Hyo-jin), it is a place she is unjustly demoted to for doing her job. The two team up to arrest the rich and powerful speed maniac Jae-chul (Cho Jung-seok) who is suspected of committing crimes for his obsession for speed. (Taken from Rotten Tomatoes)

Ryu Jun-yeol first greeted fans in Cantonese politely before moving on to a QnA session.

He shares the little notable moments during the filming process. The 32 year-old actor also said that in the movie, he had to use a racing care to capture the criminals. To get the optimal visual effects, he has to do the scenes on his own (without a body double or stuntman). Hong Kong movies were his favourite too, and Jacky Chan was no doubt his idol, hence he said that he learnt that most of the action scenes should be done personally. And that was what he went on to do.

Fans also played games with him and they even went the extra mile to fit the look, as one female fan dressed up as him in the movie and was humorously mistaken by him as an on-site staff.
