South Korean Pianist Yiruma Announces Fifth Concert in Singapore

Yiruma also lists BTS as one of the artistes he wishes to collaborate with.

Piano prodigy Yiruma, whose real name is Lee Ru-ma, will be making his way to Singapore end February.

Following numerous sold-out recitals, this marks his fifth visit to Singapore.

The 41 year-old pianist’s past four sold-out gigs in Singapore are definitely justified.

His classics, such as “River Flows In You” or “Kiss The Rain” are now pieces budding pianists work on for piano mastery.

He’s far from just a pianist with superhuman musical abilities, he has a flair for composing music too.

That said, he had worked with big names in the K-pop scene a few years back.

Powerhouse female vocalist Ailee joined forces with Yiruma for an inspiring track, “Higher” back in 2013. He also worked with 2AM for “One Spring Day” that same year.

Don’t be fooled by his expressive yet studious facade. Yiruma is secretly a jokester.

Want to hear more? His pieces, we mean.

Yiruma will be coming to town on 29 Feb (Sat), 8PM at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre.

Tickets are priced at $98, $108, $128, $168 and $228 (VIP). Prices exclude SISTIC booking fee.

Limited VIP ticket holders can score a premium seat, and get a solo shot with Yiruma at the meet-and-greet session after the show.

They can be bought online here or through SISTIC hotline (+65 6348 5555) or through the authorized apps or mobile apps.
