MALAYSIA – South Korean singer-songwriter and musical actor, Leo, greeted Malaysian media and fans at the press conference for K-Performance Show 2019. Leo is also one-sixth of Korean boy group VIXX.
The event was held on Friday (26 July) at Plenary Hall, KLCC. The event, organized by the Korean Tourism Board (Malaysia) in an attempt to promote the Korean culture, was also attended by other performer troupes as well.
The media session started with a performance by JUMP, the acclaimed number one martial arts performance comedy, followed by a breath-taking painting by The Painters. SACHOOM also appeared with powerful, amazing acrobatic moves and classical dance accompanied by an upbeat DJ-ing by EDM.
VIXX’s Leo will be playing live on Saturday (27 Jul). However, he got on stage today for the press conference to answer some pre-submitted questions from the media.
First things first, Leo apologised to Malaysian fans for not performing here after such a while. However, it’s not going to be a big deal as long as he’s back, isn’t it?
SEOULHYPE also prepared a question for Leo. We asked him if there was any attraction in Malaysia that he had visited, or wish to visit. “Because of my tight schedule, I haven’t been able to go around Malaysia to visit, but if there’s a chance, I would want to visit the National Palace (Istana Negara)”, says the 29 year-old singer.
He also added that he had only seen the palace through pictures, but he wishes to see it for himself personally. But despite his busy schedule, he expressed interest to travel around Malaysia someday.
When talking about Malaysian favourite food, how can we forget Nasi Lemak? A Malay fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf was served to Leo as he tasted it as well.
As for tomorrow’s show, we look forward to what he had prepared for us this time since he’s back to Malaysia as a solo artist now, instead of a VIXX member.
